SAGAMORE – Prescribed burnings at the Cape Cod Space Force Station will begin on Monday, March 20.
Officials at Joint Base Cape Cod noted that the burning is scheduled to continue the next day, weather permitting.
Burnings like these are carried out to mitigate wildland fuel hazards while also managing pine barrens and providing proper training for firefighters.
