Sen. Markey to Speak at Today’s Net Zero Conference in Hyannis

HYANNIS – Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey will be the guest speaker at the second annual Net Zero Cape and Islands roundtable, which takes place today in Hyannis.

Markey, who is co-author of the Green New Deal, will be speaking on the importance of local climate activism, the Green New Deal and the future of collective climate crisis work.

The conference includes around 200 climate action leaders and policy makers from across the Cape and beyond to share best practices, strategies, and goals for achieving a carbon neutral footprint for the Cape & Islands.

The day-long conference is being held from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center.
