EAST SANDWICH – People with disabling conditions can learn about options for enjoying sports and recreational activities at the Spaulding Adaptive Sports Fair on Saturday.
The fair will bring together people with physical and cognitive challenges, Spaulding therapists skilled in adaptive sports, and vendors of specialized equipment for an afternoon of demonstrations, activities and clinics.
A highlight of the event is an Adaptive Cycling Clinic.
Attendees will be able to play wheelchair basketball and tennis, try out adaptive sports equipment and learn about adaptive archery, kayaking, sailing, and other recreational activities.
The event will take place from 11-2 p.m. at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod in East Sandwich.
