FALMOUTH – A candidate for state representative in the Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket district is seeking multiple party nominations.

Jessica Lambert was recently endorsed by The United Independent Party and is seeking the party’s nomination as a write-in or “sticker” candidate for the seat.

Lambert is also seeking the Democratic nomination.

She was previously running for seat on the Falmouth Board of Selectmen before she announced that she would be running for State Representative instead in March.

“The United Independent Party works hard to promote smart, future-thinking energy and environmental policy,” said Lambert. “I’m excited to connect with voters across the district on those issues and more.”

Tobias Glidden and Jacob Ferry will run as an independents. Tim Soverino, Jacob Ferry, T. Elwell Hopkins Jr. and Michael Heylin are running as Democrats in the September 8 primary.

Four-term Democratic State Representative Tim Madden of Nantucket is vacating the seat.
