Cape Symphony Announces 10th Annual New Year’s Day Party

HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Symphony has announced the tenth annual New Year’s Day Party. This year local vocalist Siren Mayhew will accompany the orchestra. Mayhew wowed audiences when she won the 2008 Boston Pops Sing-Off at the age of 16, and has since performed with The Cape Symphony in 2016 and 2017.

“Siren has a natural gift of mesmerizing audiences with her incredibly authentic and virtuosic voice, which is delivered in a stage presence that isn’t seen in many vocalists her age. She commands the stage and we are thrilled to have her performing with us again”, said Cape Symphony Artistic Director and Conductor Jung-Ho Pak

The Concert will also feature the “genre bending” trio TAKE3. The group is known for performing classical takes on pop, jazz, movie themes, or classical tunes.

the concert takes place on January 1st at 3 O’clock,  at the Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center.
