FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police arrested a Teaticket man and seized over 14 grams of cocaine and over $1,200 in cash during a search Thursday afternoon of a room at the Great Bay Motel in Teaticket.
Gerald Coleman, 47, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and carrying a dangerous weapon, doubled edged knives.
Members of the Falmouth Police Department Drug Task Force and the Cape Cod Drug Task Force executed a search warrant of the motel room.
During the search, detectives seized 14.3 grams of cocaine with a street value of about $1,500, $1,283 in cash, scales, sandwich baggies, and baking soda.
Police said the investigation included multiple controlled purchases of illegal drugs from Coleman over a period of time.
