Thanksgiving Football Games Set to Kick Off Across Cape Cod

HYANNIS – High school football teams across the area are preparing to duel during this year’s slate of Thanksgiving games.

The action starts Wednesday night as Monomoy takes on St. John Paul II at 6 p.m. The game is now being played at Monomoy. St. John Paul II is aiming for another victory after winning last year’s contest.

On Thursday, action throughout Cape Cod starts at 10 a.m.

Falmouth will be at home as they try to top Barnstable again after winning a year ago.

Wareham, who was shutout last year in a loss, travels to Bourne.

Upper Cape Tech looks to reclaim the Golden Wrench Trophy as they visit Cape Tech.

Sandwich is looking for revenge at home against Mashpee after falling last season.

Nauset will try to defend their Chowder Bowl crown as they travel to Dennis-Yarmouth in the 24th installment of the game.
