BOSTON (AP) — Tom Brady insists he’s not interested in making a play for the White House. Still, New England Patriots fans are holding out hope he’ll reconsider the ultimate running game one day.
Brady, GQ’s 2015 Man of the Year, told the magazine for a cover story this week that “there is a 0.000 chance” he’d ever run for president or any other public office. That hasn’t stopped many in Patriots Nation from indulging in a little fantasy football, politics edition.
On talk radio and social media, fans have been debating the pros and cons of a future Brady campaign — imagining the three-time Super Bowl MVP trading the oval ball for the Oval Office.
One of Brady’s biggest supporters is Republican front-runner Donald Trump, who regularly crows about the superstar quarterback at campaign stops around New England.
