Weather Conditions Impacting Ferry Schedules

FerryHYANNIS – Ferry runs to and from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are being impacted today by high winds and choppy seas.

Hyline has cancelled all traditional service to and from the islands today. The high speed boat between Hyannis and the Vineyard is also cancelled. High speed service to and from Nantucket is on a boat-by-boat basis. Hyline has cancelled a series of morning runs today.

For the Steamship Authority, Nantucket runs are operating on a boat-by-boat basis. A number of morning runs were cancelled.

SSA service has been running to and from Martha’s Vineyard, but all boats in and out of Oak Bluffs are being diverted to Vineyard Haven. The Steamship Authority says that change is in effect until at least tomorrow and diversions could last until early next week.
