Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod Names New Executive Director

YARMOUTH PORT – Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has announced that Wendy Cullinan will take over as the organization’s new executive director.

President of the Board of Directors Nancy Smith lauded Cullinan’s leadership abilities and commitment to the mission of Habitat Cape Cod in an announcement last week.

The board unanimously chose Cullinan to be the newest executive director.

She has been a member of the Habitat team since 2013, serving as Resource Development Director, responsible for fundraising operations.

“Over the past six years working with Habitat, I’ve become so aware of the number of families here on Cape Cod that are in need of an affordable home,” Cullinan said.

“So, I have plenty of work to do; looking forward to it.”

Cullinan is taking over for Vicki Goldsmith, a vital part of the organization’s efforts in recent years.

“Vicki has taken us from an organization that was building one to two houses a year, and now we’re building eight, ten, and twelve houses a year,” Cullinan continued.

“So, I just want to continue that growth.”

Cullinan officially takes over as executive director on January 1.
