Winter Weather Advisory for Cape Cod, Light Accumulation Possible

HYANNIS – A quick-moving weather system could bring a few inches of snow to Cape Cod Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through 12 p.m.

The storm was predicted to move through portions of northern Connecticut and into eastern Massachusetts, delivering 1 to 4 inches of snow.

Forecasters said the light snow will create slippery road conditions that could impact the morning commute.

The precipitation will begin in the early morning hours on Cape Cod as rain before changing to snow as the temperature hovers around 32 degrees.

The storm will clear out by later in the day, with lows dropping to around 25 degrees Wednesday night.
