The two-time District 10 Junior American Legion baseball club fell to Littleton Post 249, 7-3, on Saturday, but then bounced back with the season-saving win Sunday.

Sandwich Post 188 will face the loser of Sunday’s match-up between Methuen Post 122 and Quincy Post 37. Methuen was ahead of Quincy, 8-2, as of Sunday evening at publication deadline.

The Hawkeye Athletic Club, 2015 District 10 American Legion champions (Seniors), fell for the second time in the Massachusetts State Tournament in Haverhill Sunday afternoon, falling Northbridge Post 343, 5-2, in 14 innings. The loss eliminated Hawkeye AC from postseason contention.

Hawkeye AC fell on Saturday in the tourney opener, 2-1, to Pittsfield Post 68.

The winner of both the junior and senior Legion state tournaments will advance to the regional level of play for a chance to go to the American Legion World Series.
