BOSTON (AP) — Larry Lucchino will become president and chief executive officer emeritus of the Boston Red Sox when he steps down next month. The 70-year-old Lucchino announced last month he was giving up his jobs after the season, and Boston said chief operating officer Sam Kennedy will take over as president on October 16th.
