Barnstable High School Girls’ Ice Hockey to Hold Golf Tourney Fundraiser

For the 12^th straight year, the Friends of Barnstable High School girls’ ice hockey will be hosting a benefit golf tournament to help offset the costs of running the highly successful program.

The scramble-format tournament will be hosted on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at The Golf Club at Yarmouth Port (formerly Kings Way) on Route 6A. The cost per player is $100 and it includes 18 holes of golf, cart and dinner following the event.

Awards, raffle prizes and a silent auction will be held at the post-golf tournament banquet. Please email the names of your participants to [email protected]. Massachusetts Maritime Academy Looking for New Track & Field Assistant Coach

Mashpee High Athletic Director Announces Fall Sports Schedule

Mashpee High School’s athletic director Matt Triveri has announced the following dates for Falcons’ fall sports:

• Football- Monday August 24th — 5:00 pm (players should meet in the Fitness Room at 4:30)
• Cheerleading — Thursday August 27th- 4:00 pm
• Girls’ Soccer — Thursday August 27th- 8:00 am
• Boys Soccer — Thursday August 27th – TBA
• Field Hockey — Thursday August 27th- 6:45 am
• Cross Country — Thursday August 27th- 8:30 am
• Golf — Thursday August 27th- 9:00 (at Mashpee High School)
• Middle School sports do not begin until the start of school (September 2).
