PROVINCETOWN – A man was injured in a slip and fall incident at the West End Breakwater in Provincetown. The incident happened around 9 AM. The victim was apparently able to make it back to the foot of the breakwater. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with a possible broken arm.

This is the latest in a series of mishaps at that location. On May 26th about 40 people were swept into the water setting off a major rescue effort. On July 18th a woman was injured and had to be carried out on a stokes basket to an ambulance. And on August 10th, another woman fell almost all the way to Long Point and had to be rescued by boat. Town officials are discussing making changes including improved signage at the popular walking path to Long Point.
