CHATHAM – A car struck a utility pole in Chatham about 3:45 PM Thursday. The driver was evaluated but appeared to have escaped serious injuries. Queen Anne Road was closed between George Ryder Road and Stepping Stones Road until Eversource could replace the pole. Chatham Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
