I’ve been up and down with my weight for most of my adult life. Now that I am having success on the Ideal Protein Diet…I am feeling very hopeful that I can get this extra weight off for good! Don’t get me wrong I know I will always have to work at it.
The Ideal Protein Diet is NOT necessarily about calories…but about your intake of carbs vs protein. Everything is chemically balanced. I have realized that many days I go hours without eating…not because the diet calls for it but because I am so busy…then when I get home my body is hungrier than it would have been had I fed it correctly every few hours.
I believe that being prepared is the main thing. I try very hard on most days to make sure I pack everything I need in terms of food for the next day. I bring a variety of vegetables. I make sure I have some protein with me like a boiled egg or maybe chicken. Just having a little of that takes the edge off until you get home.
The ideal Protein Diet is a low carb diet focused around healthy protein to burn fat NOT muscle. Most people lose 10-15 pounds a month! I am down 34 pounds and 16 inches so far!
I am doing this diet first for my health but make no mistake I want to get back into all my “sexy” clothes. (Yes, I said sexy!) It feels so great to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about yourself! I have a very special “red” dress that I can’t wait to wear for the holidays and I am definitely on my way to making that happen!
