Meet Quintin and Ralph! These fancy rats came to the MSPCA as a transfer from another shelter who took in 80 rats all at once! These rats are new to the handling business so may still be nervous at first, but they are learning quickly! They love trying new treats and exploring around their cage. Making little beds out of bundles of hay is their favorite afternoon activity!
A few facts about rats:
Rats are SUPER CLEAN and constantly GROOM themselves. Rats do NOT like to be dirty!
Rats are SUPER SMART! They love learning new tricks. They just need a dedicated trainer!
Rats are SUPER ATTACHED! They will form a lifelong bond with their owners and recognise their voice and face!
