Steamship Authority to Recognize Art Contest Winners

WOODS HOLE – The Steamship Authority will honor the 13 winners of its annual student art contest next week.

Nearly 100 students from the Authority’s constituent communities od Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Barnstable, Fairhaven, Falmouth and New Bedford submitted original artwork with a theme of “Sail Into Imagination.”

The winners will be recognized Monday, July 22 at Cotuit Center for the Arts at 5 p.m.

The artwork will be featured in the Authority’s 2020 calendar, on ferries and in terminals.
