Three people evaluated for possible carbon monoxide exposure in Hyannis

HYANNIS – Three people were evaluated for possible exposure to carbon monoxide in Hyannis. Crews responded to a Birch Street residence about 9:30 AM Thursday. National Grid was on scene and an apparently faulty heating system was shut down until repairs could be made. All three people declined to go to the hospital.

Officials remind you to make sure you have working CO detectors to protect you from the odorless, potentially fatal gas.
