Credit Union Celebrates 80th Anniversary

HYANNIS – First Citizens federal Credit Union will celebrate their 80th anniversary on November 17th

Over that time the credit union has grown to 11 locations, including Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties. 

Assets have increased from $200,000  to $708 million. 

During the month, they will commemorate the anniversary with special offers, including cash bonuses for new personal and business checking accounts and a refer a friend program. 

On November 17th, each location will host member appreciation celebrations with refreshments, and prizes. 

The credit union has shown its commitment to the communities it serves by sponsoring, fundraising and involvement with many non-profit organizations. 

They are involved with Veterans Transition, immigrant’s assistance, food pantries and shelters, just to name a few. 

The credit union has more than 80,000 members.
