Dennis Man Suffers Possible Life Threatening Injuries in Crash

ambulanceDENNIS – A Dennis man suffered serious and potentially life-threatening injuries this morning in a two-vehicle crash in Dennis.

The crash, which was described as a T-bone by Deputy Fire Chief Robert Brown, occurred at the intersection of Route 6A and Old Bass River Road before 9:30.

The 86-year-old man was medflighted to a Boston hospital after he was removed from his car using the Jaws of Life.

The other driver, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Cape Cod Hospital.

Dennis police are still investigating the crash.

Brown said the fire department was notified of the crash by a state police trooper on routine patrol.
