FALMOUTH -Voters in Falmouth head to town meeting tonight where they will be considering $137 million in spending that includes new fire fighters, and $614,000 for an amphitheater at Coonamessett Greenway Heritage Trail among other items.
A proposal to discontinue age requirements for new hires for the police and fire departments is also on the ballot.
Items also include whether or not to spend $310,000 to replace tennis courts and other athletic facilities at the Lawrenceville School, $604,000 for repairs to the Nobska Light Keeper’s house and $94,000 for improvements at Highfield Hall and Harmony Path. Falmouth town meeting takes place tonight at 7 at the Lawrenceville School.
