WAREHAM – A traffic crash knocked down a utlity pole in Wareham Tuesday morning. The collision happened on Route 28 south of I-195 by the Wareham Police Station. Police reported that section of road would be closed until repairs could be made. Eversource reported 141 customers without power as a result. The utility hoped to have service restored by 1 PM. There was no report on any injuries.
By 2 PM, the roadway was reported to have reopened.
