OAK BLUFFS – Martha’s Vineyard Community Services has unveiled a new and improved First Stop MV website.

An island-wide information and referral guide, it supports the health and wellness of Island residents of all ages by providing information and resources.

The website provides an island wide reference guide for all social services, programs, activities and opportunities.

“You can search the online data base, there are 2 ways.  You can search through category, there’s 15 different categories, or a keyword search in order to locate a service provider or any other resource that may be helpful to you or your loved ones,” said Communications Manager Mary Korba.

Over the last year, MVCS has worked with providers and community members to expand First Stop MV to become an Island-wide reference guide for all social services, programs, activities and opportunities for all ages.

Provider information is updated on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy of information.

The online database (www.firststopmv.org) can be searched by category or keyword to locate a service provider or other resource that may be able to help.

If a user cannot locate what they are searching for on the website, they are encouraged to call the phone line at 774.549.0555 or email [email protected]. Community members can also connect with First Stop MV on Facebook and Twitter (@firststopmv).

Providers who are interested in being listed on First Stop MV are asked to fill out a Provider Form at www.firststopmv.org/providerform.
