We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Single mom raising 3 children, two of which are diagnosed with autism, and one is not yet of school age which makes working difficult for Mom. As a result finances are very tight. This is a wonderful family who could really use a little help to make Christmas bright. Child #1: Girl age 4 in need of raincoat, rain boots, snow boots, winter coat, snow pants, sweat pants, sweatshirts, long pants, pajamas and slippers. Sizes are 6T for clothing, size kids 11. Loves pink, Barbie, unicorns, kittens and glittery items. Big wishes are: a pink comfy chair for room, Disney princess scooter, toy blender, double stroller for baby doll, princess tea set, Barbie dream house, pink Barbie car and coloring items. Child #2: Boy age 12 who wears size boys 16 clothes, likes Nike and under armor and character tees. Shoe size is men’s 8 ½, favorite color is blue, loves Golden State Warriors, Nightmare before Christmas, SpongeBob, Roblox and 5 nights at Freddy’s, He wishes for a JD gift card, LED light strips for bedroom, Legos and gift cards to Best Buy, Hollister and chick-fil-a. HUGE WISH is a men’s BMX bike, and blue Nike Air Jordan’s. Child #3: Boy age 14 with clothing size men’s medium. Likes Hollister, Campion and sports clothing. Shoe size is Men’s 13. Likes the color red, New England sports teams, Lebron James, basketball, football, Space Jam and Starry Night. Wishes for: a Bruins wrist watch, basketball and football cards, Lebron James poster, 2024 basketball calendar, space jam wall decal, pictures for wall and gift cards to JD and Hollister. HUGE Wish Amazon Echo Show. Mom needs clothing size large and shoe size in 10. She likes anything from Hollister, or pink, or a gift card for clothing and shoes. Family would love an air fryer, or 8qt digital crockpot. We know they could use any gift cards to Target, the grocery store or for gasoline.
