SANDWICH – Sandwich firefighters were called to this truck fire on Route 6 Monday afternoon. The smoke was initially visible from the Sandwich fire tower. Crews arriving at the scene on the westbound side between exits 2 and 3 were informed of a possible explosion according to reports. The driver was not injured. Further details were not immediately available.
