BOURNE – From Bourne Police: Around the end of October, the Bourne Police Department began receiving reports of several forced B&Es in the Pocasset / Cataumet area, with several reports of a white van being seen around the time of the B&Es. During our investigation, other area departments, including the Falmouth, Lakeville, Taunton, and Raynham Police Departments were found to have similar incidents in their towns. Working closely together, officers from our agencies, with the assistance of the Barnstable County Sheriffs Office Criminal Investigation Unit, the Baltimore County Police Department in Maryland, and the North Coventry Police Department in Pennsylvania, were able to locate the suspect vehicle and identify the suspects involved in the B&Es. Both suspects are currently in custody by an out of state agency and charges are pending in Massachusetts. We would like to thank all agencies involved in this investigation.
