YARMOUTH – The call initially came into Hyannis Fire of a house fire on Camp Street. It was quickly determined that fire was at 370 Camp Street in West Yarmouth. Both Yarmouth and Hyannis firefighters responded and found smoke showing on arrival. A passing tow truck driver stopped at the scene and assisted the homeowner in rescuing a dog and a cat from the house. The fire caused extensive damage to the rear porch area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
