WEST BARNSTABLE – A crash reportedly left an SUV off the road on its side in West Barnstable sometime after 3:30 PM Wednesday. The crash happened on Route 149 at Popple Bottom Road. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was evaluated. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police. Route 149 was closed between Race Lane and Osterville/West Barnstable Road while the scene was worked and motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.
