Eastham officer on bicycle, car collide

EASTHAM – An Eastham Police officer on bicycle patrol and a car collided early Thursday afternoon. The crash happened at the intersection of Bridge Road and Samoset Road. One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation but luckily no serious injuries were reported.

Update: Eastham Police tell CWN that it was one of the department’s Community Service Officers. She was evaluated and released from the hospital with only some abrasions and bruises.
