YARMOUTH- More than two dozen pieces of artwork created by individuals with disabilities from the Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC) are now on display at CapeSpace in West Yarmouth.
The artists involved in the exhibit are a part of KDC’s ‘Family Support Program’ which assists roughly 500 families, including adults who live at home, throughout the region.
Several times throughout the year, they participate in art classes led by painter and instructor Debra Hope Colligan.
KDC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the over 10,000 individuals and families of Southeast and Central Massachusetts with developmental delays, or family challenges.
Based in Hyannis, CapeSpace is a coworking facility that offers fully-furnished private offices, conference rooms, a business lounge, and more for local and international businesses.
Since June, the art has been displayed for members, visitors and the public to enjoy.
All pieces are also available for purchase with 100 percent of the proceeds raised going directly back to the artist.
