LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Nyquist.is the winner of the 142nd Kentucky Derby. Racing against 19 other horses the favored Nyquist finished in front of Exaggerator. At 8-0 Nyquist is the eighth unbeaten horse to win the Derby. Nyquist was ridden by Mario Gutierrez and trained by Doug O’Neill. The race was seen by the second largest crowd ever at Churchill Downs, around 167,000.
