YARMOUTH – A law firm that was recently appointed by Yarmouth Selectmen to serve as its town counsel is going through an organizational change.
Two partners from the law firm Blatman, Bobrowski, Mead and Talerman are leaving to form a separate firm next month.
Talerman made the announcement at a recent selectmen’s meeting.
“I don’t think it affects you guys at all, in fact we anticipate an improvement in service in general,” said Talerman.
The new firm will be Mead, Talerman and Costa and the same number of attorneys will continue to work on the town’s behalf.
“Previously the firm had 10 lawyers but two of them didn’t do any municipal work at all so it’s the same staff, which we actually think is a little more cohesive,” said Talerman.
