TRURO – Two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision in Truro shortly after 4 PM. A Truro Police officer was in traffic and witnessed the crash on Route 6 at Castle Road. He immediately called in the accident and began checking for injuries.
It appeared a Toyota Prius had rear-ended a Toyota Corolla. The Prius’ front end was demolished but air bags had gone off and likely prevented serious injury.
Four people were evaluated but all declined to go to the hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Northbound traffic was detoured around the scene on Whitmanville Road.
