BOURNE – Officials are reporting MacArthur Boulevard (Route 28) had multiple areas of black ice around noon. Several crashes were reported along the roadway. One crash northbound by Portside Drive resulted in a person being ejected and seriously injured. MedFlight was not available due to weather so that victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital trauma center in Providence. MassDot crews were in the area treating the roads.
