YARMOUTHPORT – The Yarmouth Fire Department is considering a Monday night fire at Lyric Restaurant suspicious.
Yarmouth Fire Lieutenant Matthew Bearse said firefighers responded to the restaurant on Route 6A and found a smoldering fire that had been extinguished by owners and Yarmouth police just before 8 p.m.
The fire was confined to a small shed attached to the building which housed cleaning chemicals, according to Bearse.
The State Fire Marshal’s office has been notified and Yarmouth fire and police are investigating.
