Cape Cod Healthcare Opens New Retail Pharmacy in Harwich

HARWICH – The Fontaine Outpatient Center on Long Pond Drive now contains an in-house retail pharmacy.

Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) opened the pharmacy Monday inside the Fontaine facility, which is also contains urgent and primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, radiology, orthopedics, cardiology and other service.

The healthcare company said the new pharmacy’s staff will be able to help patients with multiple prescriptions ensure they are compatible.

According to CCHC, the pharmacy will accept most major commercial insurances, including Medicare D and Medicaid.

It will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Fontaine Outpatient Center contains the second CCHC retail pharmacy on the Cape, second to the Stoneman Outpatient Center in Sandwich which opened last fall.
