YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department recently honored the 2015 recipients of the officer and dispatcher of the year awards.
Officer Nicholas Ambrosini was recognized for his work in launching a partnership with Gosnold to conduct follow-up visits to the homes of overdose victims.
Ambrosini, a member of the anti-crime unit, took part in over 250 arrests and 570 motor vehicle stops in 2015.
Ambrosini is in his 6th year with Yarmouth. He previously worked as an officer in Truro.
Maria Curtis was honored as dispatcher of the year. She has spent 14 years with the department.
