40th Annual Blessing of the Bikes to Be Held on May 1

WEST DENNIS – The 40^th Annual Blessing of the Bikes will be held on May 1 at West Dennis Beach.

The Cape Cod and Islands Chapter of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Club will be hosting the event.

Participants are encouraged to register and have their bikes parked before the blessing occurs at noon.

The minimum suggested participation donation is $5 with all proceeds going to the Blue Knights for charitable purposes.

The motorcycle club donates to a number of charities throughout the year, including the American Cancer Society and the Cape Cod Community College Scholarship.

Around 1,500 motorcycles traveled from every state in New England to be a part of last year’s blessing, with an estimated 2,200 people in attendance.
