ORLEANS – The Orleans Police Department presents the second annual Five-0 5K in beautiful Orleans. The race begins at the Old Jailhouse Tavern, 28 West Road, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Runners and walkers are welcome for this 3.1 mile race, and the flat route provides a great Labor Day weekend run to wrap up the summer season.
Awards, music and raffles follow the conclusion of the race at the Old Jailhouse Tavern. Lace up your sneakers, bring the family and come join the fun!
The event is timed by Spitler Race Systems and benefits the Homeless Prevention Council as well as the Orleans Police Relief Association.
The first 200 runners/walkers to register receive a T-shirt on race day.
