MASHPEE – Cape Wide News reported on September 18th that a vehicle had been recovered in John’s Pond in Mashpee. Police confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen in 2011. Over the weekend, the Barnstable Sheriff’s office assisted in the recovery of the Hummer from the pond. Sheriff officers then did a forensic examination of the vehicle.
