PROVINCETOWN – Nearly $4,500 has so far been raised to help a 93-year-old Provincetown woman who lost her home in a fire last Sunday.

As of Wednesday evening, 44 people had contributed to the cause on the website Youcaring.com.

Grace Rizk lost her home and all her belongings in the blaze. Among her possessions that were lost were paintings by her late husband Romanos “Ray” Rizk, a prominent painter in Provincetown since the 1950s.

Firefighters had particular challenges battling the fire at the home at 8 Kiley Court, because the rear of the house is built into the side of a hill and was not accessible to fire crews.

Go to this link for more information about the fundraising page and to donate.

The goal on the page is to donate $5,000 to help Grace Rizk.
