Chatham Selectmen Open Seaside Links Membership to Other Towns

Seaside LinksCHATHAM – Selectmen in Chatham recently voted to allow residents from towns other than Chatham and Harwich to apply for a membership to the Seaside Links golf course.

Up to 50 new members from other towns will be allowed to become members with nonresident fees of $450 for individuals and $600 for families.

“This would allow people from towns such as Brewster or Orleans or whatnot to actually have an official membership at the course,” said Dan Tobin, the director of parks and recreation for Chatham.

The towns of Chatham and Harwich already have an agreement to allow residents to become members of the other town’s public golf course.

Selectmen also voted to increase the rates at Seaside Links by a dollar for both 9 and 18 holes. It is the first rate change at the course in about a decade.
