BARNSTABLE – The snow is causing some travel problems across the Cape’s roadways this afternoon.
A trooper with the state police Bourne barracks said that the road conditions are terrible and there have been a number of spinouts on Routes 28 and 25.
State police from the Yarmouth barracks said there have been multiple accidents on Route 6 across the Mid Cape this afternoon and are asking motorists to use extreme caution.
Route 6 eastbound accidents near exits 5 and 6 caused delays as traffic was brought to a crawl with almost white out conditions, according to a motorist.
Accidents were also reported along Route 6A in Yarmouth with a car on its side near Center Street in Yarmouth Port.
