CHATHAM – The crew and passengers on a fishing charter boat caught a rare glimpse of an orca, or killer whale, off the coast of Cape Cod Sunday.
Got Stryper Fishing Charters, based out of Chatham, posted a video on its Facebook page of the encounter.
Orcas have been spotted in waters off the Cape, but the sightings are rare, according to researchers.
A similar sighting was made about 12 miles northeast of Chatham in July 2016.
