YARMOUTH – In an effort to curb drunk driving, Operation Safe Ride Home will once again be offering free rides home for anyone in need in Yarmouth this holiday weekend.
The program will run from 10 p.m. Friday July 1 to 2 a.m. Tuesday July 5, and is a collaboration between the Yarmouth Police Department and Town Taxi.
Anyone who needs a free and safe ride home from a Yarmouth licensed liquor establishment from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. any night this weekend should call 508-775-5555.
Operation Safe Ride Home is made possible through financial donations from local business leaders as well as community members.
