BARNSTABLE – At about 1:00 PM Friday, State Police responded to Route 6 eastbound in Barnstable for a report of a bus fire. It was determined that a Crystal Transport bus was traveling on Route 6 when engine trouble appears to have precipitated one of the tires catching fire. Barnstable Fire responded to put out the fire. The passengers were loaded onto another bus to continue to their destination. There were no injuries.
