HARWICH – Around 3 p.m. Friday, a box truck from Terry’s TV and Appliances was reportedly run off Long Pond Drive near Sidney Road hitting a Eversource pole. The driver told police a Ford pick-up forced him to the side when he struck the pole. Half of the pole landed on top of the box truck. There were no injuries to the driver or passenger. Long Pond Drive will be closed for sometime until the pole is replaced. Harwich Police are handling the investigation.
