The event is a live storytelling competition and will take place on the main stage at the Media Center’s state-of-the-art television studio.

“It’s wonderful to be able to create and host an event like the StorySlam,” said Terry Duenas, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Community Media Center. “Using the creative expression of the spoken word in this large group, performance setting is exciting and unique and to have the ability to capture the event is really icing on the cake.”

The public is invited with an entry fee of $10 going to prize money for the contestants.
